About Invoiceum
Crypto Shows Where Money Moved. Invoiceum Explains Why.
Blockchain records are transparent, permanent and verifiable. But a transaction hash alone cannot explain who paid, what they paid for, which invoice the payment relates to or how the transaction should appear in a company’s records.
That missing context is why we created Invoiceum.
Invoiceum adds a business documentation layer to the crypto wallet you already use. It connects clients, invoices and on-chain payments into clear, human-readable records—without taking custody of your funds.
Your wallet remains yours. We help document the business activity around it.
Our Philosophy
Crypto gave people something genuinely new: the ability to hold and receive value without placing every transaction inside a traditional financial institution.
That freedom is powerful. But running a legitimate business requires more than a wallet address and a list of transaction hashes.
Clients need invoices. Accountants need understandable records. Businesses need to know why money arrived. Banks, exchanges and compliance teams may ask for the commercial history behind particular transactions.
We believe self-custody and proper documentation should work together.
Financial independence should not require accounting chaos.
Invoiceum is designed to preserve the advantages of self-custody while making crypto payments easier to understand, reconcile and explain.
What We Offer
Invoiceum helps freelancers, agencies and businesses create an organized documentary history around their crypto transactions.
Professional Crypto Invoices
Create digital and printable invoices denominated in fiat currency, cryptocurrency or stablecoins.
Every invoice can clearly specify:
- the payment asset;
- the blockchain network;
- the full receiving address;
- the amount and payment terms;
- the applicable exchange-rate method;
- the customer and commercial details.
Optional Customer Information Collection
Sometimes a business starts working with only a client’s name and email address but needs additional information before completing its records.
Invoiceum allows the invoice issuer to request missing customer details through the digital invoice.
Information submitted through these forms is identified as user-provided information. Invoiceum does not represent it as independently verified unless a separate verification process has explicitly been completed.
Automatic On-Chain Payment Matching
Invoiceum can compare the payment details with publicly available blockchain information and connect the relevant transaction to the invoice.
The resulting record may include:
- the complete transaction hash;
- originating and receiving addresses;
- asset and network;
- amount paid;
- exact transaction date and time;
- confirmation status;
- fiat value and exchange-rate source.
Payment Confirmations
When an invoice is paid, Invoiceum can generate a separate Payment Confirmation connecting the commercial document to the on-chain transaction.
An invoice explains what was requested. A Payment Confirmation records how that obligation was paid.
Consolidated Wallet Statements
Raw wallet histories are designed for machines and blockchain explorers—not accountants.
Invoiceum turns wallet activity into a structured, human-readable statement. Transactions can be connected to invoices, clients, confirmations and supporting explanations.
The result is easier to review than a collection of screenshots, spreadsheets and unexplained hashes.
Verifiable Documents
Invoiceum documents can include a verification ID or QR code linking to a verification page.
This allows a recipient to confirm that a document was generated by Invoiceum and has not been silently replaced or modified.
Verification confirms the document’s integrity and origin within Invoiceum. It does not certify that every user-provided statement is true or that a regulator, bank or other institution must accept the document.
Optional Transaction Risk Screening
Where available, Invoiceum may connect to third-party blockchain analytics services to provide AML, sanctions or transaction-risk indicators.
These results are intended to support review and record-keeping. A risk score is not a legal judgment and should not be described as proof that funds are either “clean” or “illegal.”
What Invoiceum Does Not Do
Invoiceum is not a bank, cryptocurrency exchange, custodial wallet, auditor or certification authority.
We do not:
- hold customer funds;
- control private keys;
- transfer payments between users;
- convert cryptoassets;
- operate a merchant balance;
- certify the legal origin of funds;
- independently guarantee user-provided information;
- provide legal, tax or accounting advice;
- guarantee that a document will be accepted by a bank, exchange, accountant, auditor, tax authority or regulator.
We provide software for collecting, organizing, matching and presenting information.
The business remains responsible for its wallet, clients, transactions, taxes and compliance obligations.
No Single Global Document Format Exists
There is no single worldwide system that defines exactly how every invoice, payment confirmation, wallet statement or source-of-funds document must look.
Requirements may differ between countries, institutions, industries and even individual reviewers.
If you work internationally, your documents may need to follow different formats or include different information for different recipients. This is normal.
Invoiceum provides a jurisdiction-neutral, information-rich format designed to be as broadly usable as reasonably possible. Our templates aim to include the critical information most commonly needed to understand and review a crypto transaction, including:
- the parties to the transaction;
- its commercial purpose;
- invoice and payment details;
- complete wallet addresses;
- the complete transaction hash;
- the asset and blockchain network;
- the exact date and time;
- the amount and accounting-currency value;
- the exchange-rate source;
- related confirmations and supporting records.
We continually improve our templates to make them clearer, more complete and more useful across different jurisdictions and review processes.
However, a universal template cannot replace requirements imposed by a particular country, institution or professional. Users remain responsible for checking whether additional information, wording, signatures, translations or locally prescribed forms are required in their specific situation.
Our goal is not to promise automatic acceptance. Our goal is to give you the most complete, organized and understandable documentary foundation possible.
Built for the Uncomfortable Question
Good documentation is easiest to create when a transaction happens—not months later, after someone asks:
Where did these funds come from?
Invoiceum cannot guarantee the outcome of a compliance review. What it can do is help ensure that you are not left searching through old emails, screenshots and blockchain explorers when that question arrives.
An invoice, a customer record, a transaction hash, an exact timestamp and a payment confirmation tell a much clearer story together than any of them can tell alone.
Designed for Businesses—and the People Who Help Them
Invoiceum is designed for:
- freelancers receiving international crypto payments;
- agencies working with clients and contractors across borders;
- small businesses using stablecoins;
- accountants reconciling self-custody wallets;
- consultants preparing source-of-funds documentation;
- software platforms that need invoicing and transaction-matching infrastructure.
Our goal is to make crypto business records understandable even to someone who does not work with blockchains every day.
Because if your accountant can understand your wallet activity, everyone’s job becomes easier.
Our Principles
Your Keys, Your Funds
Invoiceum should not need custody of your assets to help you document them.
Context Matters
A transaction hash proves movement. A complete business record explains its purpose.
Honest Labels
User-provided information should be identified as user-provided. Screening should be described as screening. Verification should never be presented as certification.
Documentation by Default
Records should be created alongside the transaction—not reconstructed only when a problem arises.
Human-Readable First
A statement should be understandable to a business owner, accountant or reviewer without requiring them to decode a block explorer.
Freedom Works Better With Good Records
We do not see documentation as the opposite of financial independence. Good records help legitimate businesses use self-custody with greater confidence.
The Idea in One Sentence
Invoiceum turns self-custody wallet payments into organized, accountant-ready business records.
Your wallet.
Your funds.
Your business history—properly documented.
